New Chapter : 2026 and Beyond!

Dear Partners,

I am writing to you to share that after 1.5 years of prayer, seeking The Lord and several conversations with Overland leadership and my Pastor. I have made the decision to depart from with Overland Missions as a Missionary in Zanzibar, Tanzania.  Many of you have been with me since 2020 when I started my journey with Overland Missions and some of you have been with me since I gave my life to Jesus in 2015 so you know this decision was not made lightly. First, I would like to honor and thank Overland Missions Presidents Phil and Sharon Smethurst for their obedience to the call of God and starting Overland Missions. It has played a major part in my walk with The Lord and they have made a way for me to be apart of doing ministry in Zanzibar, Tanzania.  I will continue to stand with Overland and we are all in the Kingdom of God so I can’t wait to see where else God takes Overland in the near future.

Thank you very much to everyone of you that have been a monthly, annual or one-time partner since 2020 with Overland Missions.  Every seed you have sown has help see countless of lives changed and set free with the Gospel.  I have led our local and international Expedition teams in Zanzibar for 3 years and I have went everywhere in Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania sharing the Good News of Jesus.  Therefore, I have calculated that an estimate over 7,000 people have heard the Gospel since my feet touched the ground in Tanzania. This is including expeditions and everywhere I have been personally with our local ministry partners. Heaven has the real account but this is just a sample of how your giving impacted my time in Zanzibar, Tanzania with Overland Missions.

As I come out my time with Overland I know many of you may have questions on your giving going forward.  I will be continuing into the nations and setting up my ministry God entrusted to me and I will keep you in touch with the details before 2025 is over. More details are below about your giving.

My last day employed by Overland will be December 19, 2025. Any donations received past this date will be returned to you (the donor). Here are some actionable steps regarding your donation:

1. You can terminate your donation immediately by emailing office@overlandmissions.com.

2. You can wait for your donations to be terminated by the ministry after the date of December 19, 2025.

3. If you would like to continue supporting Overland’s overall vision you can do that by notifying the finance department at the email above to transfer your donations.
